Account Deletion Request

At Gostado, we value your privacy and provide you with full control over your personal data. If you no longer wish to use our services, you can request the deletion of your account and all associated data in accordance with Google Play’s Data Safety policies.

Delete your account from the app

The quickest way — you stay in control and nothing has to be verified by hand:

1. Open the Gostado app and go to Settings.
2. Tap Account → Delete account.
3. Confirm by typing your username.

Your account is locked and hidden from other users straight away. It is permanently deleted after 7 days. Changed your mind within that window? Simply sign in again and tap Restore account.

Please include the following information in your email:

• The email address associated with your Gostado account.
• Your username (optional, but helpful for faster verification).
• A clear statement confirming that you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data.

What data will be removed?

Upon successful verification of your request, the following information will be permanently purged from our active databases:

• Profile Information: Your full name, username, profile picture and uploaded avatar.
• Activity Data: All your stadium check-ins, match history, earned badges, predictions and uploaded stadium photos.
• Social Data: Your friend list and global leaderboard positions.
• Account Data: Your sign-in account and registered devices.

Data Retention & Timeline

In-app request: your account is deleted permanently 7 days after you confirm. That waiting period exists so you can undo an accidental deletion — no data is kept beyond it.

Email request: after receiving your request we verify your identity to protect your account, and complete the deletion within 30 days.

Data Retention: Please note that some data may be retained for a limited period if required by law or for legitimate security purposes to prevent fraudulent activity. Once the deletion has run and legal requirements are met, your data is irrecoverable.
